My Jewels, My Rules is a series of vector-based images that, through photomontage and the digital translation of the body into line, color, and iconic pose, enters the space between art history, online self-representation, and the visual economy of desire. The artist draws from online sources (OnlyFans, Instagram, pornographic platforms) and translates them into a digital aesthetic that deliberately engages with the visual languages of advertising, fashion, illustration, and branding.
Through visual pastiche, she appropriates iconic works of modern and contemporary art, subordinating them to the figure — female, sexualized, self-represented. The body is not merely an object but a visual medium that looks back and claims the symbolic capital of art history. Each composition functions as a “thirst trap” — an aestheticized field of desire operating within the logic of visibility, distribution, and attention.
The exhibition combines digital printing on canvas with elements of physical materiality (jute canvas, UV print), challenging the very nature of painting as not a timeless bearer of transcendence, but as a “materialist corpse that rots subversively.” Within this decay emerges a space of power — the female body, no longer passive, but a tool, a subject, and a surface through which the present is read.
