Visiting Lecturer: Harv Stanic-Stalman

Harv Stanic-Stalman was born in Eastern Cape in South Africa and moved to Europe in early 80’s with his parents. Dutch citizen, with 2 degrees – one in Social and Cultural Antropology and the other one in Astrophysics he worked in a hi-tech and computer industry for more then 15 years, but also was teaching for 6 years at the University of Bauhaus in Weimar, Germany at a Chair for Experimental Radio on the Faculty of Media Art and Design and after that 2 more years Interaction design in a known Danish School of Design in Kolding, Denmark.As a Robotic Software Producer he worked a little over 5 years for Danish toymaker LEGO on a bridging the children’s minds and imagination to the software for LEGO MINDSTORMS robotic toys line.He lives between Ljubljana and Koper where he works for sea and ocean research company adding his time and the knowledge to the building of a better sea-going research robot.
